Ms. Sara Harakat

Sara Harakat is an architect and artist whose work explores memory, migration, and identity through culturally rooted, socially engaged design. Raised across Beirut, Casablanca, and Dakar, her plural upbringing shapes a human-centered approach that bridges disciplines and geographies. He has also contributed to award-winning film and art projects, including the Oscar-nominated Capernaum.

For over a decade, she has worked with displaced communities in Lebanon, Kurdistan, and rural France, creating inclusive spaces—from community gardens and kitchens to wooden shelters—that foster healing and belonging.
