Elder M. Travis Wolsey
Area Seventy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Travis Wolsey is an Area Authority Elder, serving in the Eleventh Quorum of the Seventy since 2021. He is a senior leader responsible for the Vancouver, Delta, Surrey, and Everett (Washington) areas, where he coordinates councils within the North America West Area. He also serves as President of the Surrey British Columbia Stake. From July '25 onwards he will be in-charge of all of Canada.
Previously served as bishop, stake president, and full-time missionary in Bulgaria Sofia Mission.
As an Area Seventy and local stake president, he’s deeply involved in church leadership, pastoral care, and community outreach in BC (including helping people with addiction).
Speaks publicly on civic and ethical themes like remembrance, compassion, and inclusion. He embodies themes like service, unity, and moral living. Known for pastoral empathy and engagement, he’s a recognized and respected public figure in faith and community circles.
A physiotherapist by profession, he is the founder and director of Sungod Sports & Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Clinics and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia.
