Harinder Singh holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Wichita State University, an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas, and an M.Phil. in the linguistics of the Guru Granth Sahib from Punjab University.

Harinder co-founded SikhRI with a vision to provide accessible, intellectually grounded Sikh educational resources. He also helped launch the Panjab Digital Library, and envisioned the Kaur and Singh Academy.

He frequently appears on radio and television, speaks at universities, parliaments, museums, and civic forums globally, and consults on educational curricula, exhibitions, films, and documentaries about Sikhism and Punjabi identity.

His current projects include: Advancing critical thinking within Sikh institutions, e.g. through SikhRI’s State of the Panth report series; and Developing open-source interpretations of the Guru Granth Sahib in contemporary Punjabi and English for global audiences.
